Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014 Podcast Panel

My podcasting co-host, John Mayo of ComicBookPage, was on the 9th Annual Podcasting panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con International yesterday afternoon, and has already made it available as a podcast for those who were not able to attend, whether they were not in San Diego, or there were simply to many other panels and exhibits vying for their attention.

I want to take a moment to share it with everyone as the discussion was a wonderful flowing conversation between a group of podcasters who had never sat down together before as one cohesive group, and yet it flowed, was fascinating, and it was obvious each respected the understanding and perspective the other brought to the conversation, and yet each had a different vantage point on the topic of Comic Books and the industry they all very clearly care about.

One of the things I really enjoy, and respect, about this panel each year, is the fact that the podcasters record their conversation and release it as a podcast available to all of their listeners, embracing the medium in which they share news and information.  That being said, the room the panel was in was nearly three quarters full with very interested listeners who were caught up in the conversation, and had questions to ask, eliciting more information from the panel before them.
